This 5ml Keiki Paste is a concentrated plant growth stimulator designed to activate dormant nodes and promote new growth. It is commonly used for orchid propagation, including the formation of keikis (plantlets) and the branching of flower spikes. It can also be applied to selected non-orchid plants that respond to cytokinin-based stimulation.
Applications
• Promotes the growth of keikis (plantlets) on orchids

Suitable Plants
Mainly used on orchids, including:
• Phalaenopsis
• Dendrobium
• Oncidium
• Cattleya (limited, node-specific only)
Can also be used on certain non-orchid plants that form nodes or buds, such as:
• Monstera (stimulation of node or growth point)
• Hoya
• African Violets
• Roses (node stimulation)
• Some woody or climbing plants with dormant buds
Results depend on plant species, maturity, health, and growing conditions.
Expected Timeline for Results
• Initial swelling or activity at the treated node may appear within 1–3 weeks
• Visible new growth (keiki, shoot, or branch) typically develops within 3–8 weeks
• Some plants take longer, especially in cooler temperatures or lower light intensity
Patience is required, as growth rates vary and results are not guaranteed.
Application
1. Select a healthy, mature plant with a visible dormant node or bud.
2. Carefully expose the node if it is covered by a thin outer layer.
3. Using a clean tool, apply a very small amount of paste directly to the node.
4. Continue to provide appropriate light, warmth, and regular care.
