Most species of Anthurium (flamingo flower) originate from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. There, they often do not grow in dense forest soil but as epiphytes on trees or in a loose layer of leaves, moss, and bark. This is why their roots need significantly more air than those of many other houseplants. A flamingo flower thrives best in a loose, airy, and slightly acidic soil that retains water well but does not cause waterlogging.

Suitable for:
Anthuriums (flamingo flowers), Monstera, Philodendron, Syngonium, and other tropical aroids.

Each individual ingredient is sterilized separately by gentle heat treatment to ensure a clean, pest-free, and mold-free mixture.

💚 What's inside:
🍃 Leaf mold – Provides gentle structure and natural nutrients
🌲 Pine bark – Keeps roots airy, allows excess water to drain well.
🥥 Coconut chips – Store moisture while allowing good aeration for the roots.
✨ Pumice – Improves air circulation and prevents compaction
🖤 Activated charcoal – Keeps the substrate fresh and inhibits mold growth

🌱 Note on natural materials:
This substrate contains leaf humus as a natural component. Due to its natural origin, dormant seeds may occasionally be present. Therefore, the occasional appearance of small seedlings or sprouts in the substrate is possible. This is a natural process and does not affect the quality or suitability of the product.

✨ Benefits:
• 100% sterilized – no fungus gnats or mold.
• Hand-mixed in small batches (2 or 3 L) for consistent quality.
• Ready to use.
